The information we collect or receive and how we use it
2.1 What we will send you
When you register to receive our Fundraiser’s Friend email, we collect your name and email address. We use this information to send you our quarterly ‘Fundraiser’s Friend’ email, although we may occasionally send additional special versions, but this doesn’t happen very often.
When you add an event to our Charity Calendar, we collect your name and email address, as well as details of your event. We use this information to advertise your event on our site, and we remove this event at the end of each calendar year, or whenever you ask us to do so. We will only email you again if you have ticked the box marked ‘Please keep me informed about the Charity Calendar and ChangeStar’, in which case we will send you the same emails we send to people who’ve signed up for ‘Fundraiser’s Friend’ email, plus an occasional email when we are compiling a new year’s calendar to ask if you would like to add entries to it.
2.2 How you can unsubscribe
If you wish to stop receiving our emails, you can do so at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of each one, or by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe‘ link here.
2.3 Third Parties
We will never trade, sell or share your personal details with any third party, charity or commercial organisation unless we are obliged to do so for law enforcement purposes. We do not rent or share lists with other organisations, and we will never do so.
