Our lives – both at home and at work – have been turned upside down by the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s time to reflect on what’s happened, how to move forward and what we can learn to make our lives and world better.
I’d like to share a new publication with you that I’ve written for the not-for-profit Life Squared, called ‘Lessons from Lockdown’. Click here to read or listen to it.
This guide explores how each of us can exit lockdown in a way that feels comfortable, and provides 15 lessons we can learn from this whole experience to help us improve our own lives and the society around us.
It includes lessons such as ‘Don’t take your lifestyle for granted’, ‘Appreciate invisible workers’, ‘Less can mean more’, ‘People need people’ and ‘Human beings are great – but need support to flourish’. These lessons can help us build better lives – and a better society – in the future.
It is perfect reading/listening for anyone who is worried about returning to ‘normal’ too quickly or who wants to take stock of how they can live a better life after lockdown.

Please also share it and tell other people about it – as this enables us to help more people!
Talks, workshops and consultancy
As the issues covered in the guide are so important at the moment, we at ChangeStar are offering talks, online workshops and consultancy to help individuals and teams at charities and other voluntary organisations to reflect on some of them – from how to emerge from lockdown through to lessons we can learn as individuals, teams and charities.
It is important to pause and take stock of these issues now, and these insights could be of benefit both to our personal and work lives. Please get in touch if you would like to chat through the possibilities of us running a session like this.
