Happy new year! We’re looking forward to 2025 at ChangeStar, as we’ve got some exciting things happening this year. We are looking to expand the scope of our work and the services that we provide, in order to both help the charity sector deal with some of the challenges it is facing, and to help it apply more insights from the criminally under-used discipline of psychology, in order to build more effective and impactful organisations, teams and communications in the charity sector and beyond.

Below are some of the new services we are offering initially (in addition to our existing ones):
Interim management
We now offer short- and medium-term cover for senior roles in not-for-profit organisations, including CEO, Director, and senior strategy, creative and fundraising roles. We can provide highly experienced organisation and team leaders at short notice for any period of time you need.
Getting your team organised
One of the areas we’ve recently seen teams struggling with most in the charity sector is in organising themselves effectively – both collectively and as individuals. This may appear to be such a simple task that it doesn’t need work, but we’ve seen it really reduce the effectiveness of charities, and the amount of money they raise. As a result, we are now offering coaching, training and toolkits to help teams and individuals work more effectively. This includes simple things like improving time and project management skills and how to collect case study materials, through to how to work together more effectively as a team.
Coaching
We offer a range of levels of coaching, including helping CEOs and senior staff to find the time and space to stand back from their roles and work through any challenges, review goals and have access to insight and support from a senior external figure. We also work with team members of all levels to help them with personal development and building their skills – from preparing to step up into a more senior role through to improving their time management. We also provide private life coaching to individuals.
