We’re delighted to announce details of our next ChangeStar Friday Fundraising call on 11am on Friday 14th January 2022!
We’ll be speaking to Mark Barkaway, the Head of Marketing & Income Generation at Albion in the Community – the charity for Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club – about a subject close to every fundraiser’s heart – ‘How to recruit new supporters cheaply and effectively’.
Supporter recruitment can be expensive. But your charity encounters potential donors every day through its touch points with the public – including your website, services, events and even reception desk. These are some of your warmest contacts and are the most cost-effective way to recruit new supporters before spending money on other acquisition activities.
In this session we’ll explore how to make the most of your charity’s ‘touch points’ to recruit new supporters. We’ll also look at how to build a regular giving product, build an individual giving plan and much more. There’ll also be time to ask questions and chat to other fundraisers. The session will be essential for anyone wanting a cost-effective way to recruit new supporters – whether at a football club charity or any other charity.

A quick reminder of what our Friday Fundraising Calls are all about – on the first Friday of every month at 11am we’ll be hosting an online event to bring fundraisers together and share some ideas and insights on how to do fundraising better.
