Recruiting new supporters can be expensive, so it’s critical to get it right. In this session we’ll show you how. We’ll talk about how to choose the right channels for recruitment for your charity – and your budget. We’ll also explore the advantages and disadvantages of some specific channels, including press ads, inserts and DRTV – and show you how to get the most out of them with your targeting and creative.
There’ll be plenty of practical insight and lessons to apply to your fundraising. There’ll also be time at the end to ask questions and chat to other fundraisers. This is an essential session for anyone interested in getting better results from their supporter recruitment.

A quick reminder of what our Friday Fundraising Calls are all about – on the first Friday of every month at 11am we’ll be hosting an online event to bring fundraisers together and share some ideas and insights on how to do fundraising better.
In each episode we’ll be joined by senior, experienced fundraiser to share their insights and experiences on a topic of particular practical interest and importance – from how to recruit new supporters to how to get the best from legacy appeals. We’ll record the episode live with an online audience, and then upload video and audio recordings to the ChangeStar website – in order to reach as many people as possible.
